Upgrade and Insure your businesses from takeovers or sabotage.
Make key decisions based on scenarios to increase your earnings.
Engage in joint ventures with them so that both players can benefit.
The point of the game is to buy businesses which will increase your earning rate (profits). You can also increase your earnings via upgrading your businesses or interacting with other people via takeovers, sabotage or joint ventures. Your money grows by your earning rate, even if you're offline albeit less so if you're offline. This is the perfect game for the idle gamer who likes to play tap games.
